I’ve had this issue in the past couple of days, i wanted to add nodes handles to a curve by cmd click, and it just not work for most of times, and it is quite frustrating to deal with.
I don’t know if it’s on my end or can i somehow hack it? is there’s another way to add node handles?
To add handles to a straight line, hold down the Option key and click the line segment.
- The key shortcut is “option” rather than “command.”
- For some reason, if the segment is already selected, the option-click won’t work. Clicking off the line in empty space to deselect all first can help with that.

If the segment is selected, and you option click and drag it, you can duplicate it.
