Cmd+x should cut/break the path!

This is fixed already.

v.809

He means, in the upcoming version.

ohh. [smile]

Option+delete as well as cutting a selected path does it to inconsistent range of nodes. It removes the first node of the selected ones but not the last. Not only is it inconsistent, the data in the clipboard is incomplete when it is cut (cmd+x a part of outline and immediately paste it to see what I mean).

Looks like the alt-delete behaviour has recently changed too. Unpredictable results when alt-deleting nodes — in some cases the path is closing itself after points are taken out. Please revert to previous behaviour.

@Tosche and @Bendy can you post examples?

I noticed that this is not persistent. It is working fine for a moment (was different yesterday).

Dear @GeorgSeifert
It’s great to see you take on user suggestions here but I would like to add counter openions here… I do not find the cmd+x useful as now when I want to delete a point without breaking the line I must move my left hand over to the backspace, whereas before I could just cmd+x to remove a point.

Perhaps a user setting?

Cmd+X is not for removing. The Delete key is.
