I have a font made with svg, and I would like to apply a gradient to it. Where can I find a more specific tutorial on gradients?

Switch the layer to Color (right click in the layer panel).
Select a path. You will see stroke and fill options in the lower right.
Hit the “+” in the header and add a gradient setting.
