Component alternate layers

I remember this being a thing, but I thought it had been resolved. Or is it intentional?

If I have alternate layers in, for example, _Q.tail, the exported static fonts don’t have the correct alternate in my Q. In the variable font, it works. Why? Could this be fixed?

I currently have to add the alternate layers in the composite as well for it to work in static fonts.

Ah. It works with the native export, but not with my own export plugin. I’ll investigate further.
