I have a font with 5 Masters, first two masters related to all glyphs and the three remaining are for some glyphs. Let’s say the three remaining masters for letters from A to M, is there a way to make other glyphs like from N to Z component from first master? to ensure consistency between masters
This is only possible with scripting.
What are you using the three extra masters for?
To create variable axes for specific common elements between some glyphs. For example Cup element in Arabic script, which you can see it in seen, sad, noon, lam and qaf
If those features only appear in some glyphs, you can use Virtual Masters and brace layers in those glyphs.
