When I’m in “Select Tool”, it won’t render unless I turn “Show Metrics”, if I switch to “Cursor Tool” or “Hand Tool” it renders without needing to turn “Show Metrics” on. I’m viewing at 805pt:
That looks like you have two shapes on top of each other.
There are no overlapping components:

Ok I see what the problem is: When I have “show background” off, the glyph doesn’t display. I’ve sent the file.
Can you try to start without plugins (hold Option and Shift when you start Glyphs)?!
(you should get this in the top right corner of the window)
I get the same result when I start without plugins… did you check in the /dcaron.ss01 , the same problem is in b.ss01
