Component order

Hello,

In Robofont, we pay attention to the order of components and make sure the first component is always the intended base glyph and the accent is the second component. I was wondering if component order operates similarly in Glyphs. Is it important to pay attention to the order other than making sure that the components are ordered the same across all masters for interpolatablity?

If you like to use the automatic component alignment, then the order is important. Other than that it is recommended but not required.
