Hi, I’m newish to Glyphs App. I am finding that when I place a component into a glyph I can’t move it unless there is another path or primitive in that glyph. I can flip it and copy and paste it but the new copy always appears along side the first and can’t be moved. Once I add another path or primitive then all is good, but once I delete this path or primitive the components move back to being alongside each other. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?
The component is automatically aligned. You can right click it a select “Disable automatic alignment”. For normal composite glyphs, I suggest to keep it on and adjust the position of the accent by anchors: https://glyphsapp.com/tutorials/diacritics
