What happened to the excellent “copy custom filter” from Glyphs 3?
EDIT: Realise this is a new filter. But can it not be here? So one could easily copy a filter parameter for use on instances/export?
It is not needed any more (most filters still have that option out of habit). Add a “Filter” parameter and try to edit it. You will get a dialog that allows you to edit the filter right there. Unfortunately, the “Slanter” is not compatible with that new behavior. I’ll fix it. But I suspect its results are not good enough to eb applied on export.
Some clients are happy with a free slanted Oblique, and it’s for them this would be handy. I think the new Glyphs 4 ”Slanter” is a bit better than the old Glyphs 3 ”Transformation panel” — so would be super if it can be added to be used on exports.
