Copying text with placeholder glyphs

Hi there,

I set up a text to quickly check and improve the spacing of my font using placeholder glyphs in Glyphs 1.4.5 (614). When I try to copy this string from one font to another, the placeholders get lost.

Is there a possibility to copy the «complete» string, including the placeholders?

I feel like I’ve seen something around here for that… that a placeholder is represented somehow, eg. <\pl> or something like it. Also eager to know!

I know the code for it, it is just weird that it does not get copy/pasted between files.

True, it only works in the Sample Strings.
