When two shapes with corner overlap each other, their position will change.
Can they keep their position with their shapes, but not influenced by the other shape.

That is a conflict with the overlap. At the time the corner is applied, the node you attated it to is not there anymore. I would need to rework most of the corner and stroke node and I can’t do that right now.
What you can try is to apply the corner to the stroke path:
The same could be done with the other corners. It does look a bit different but either is a valid shape:

There will need much more time to adjust the corners again when two shapes overlap each other, especially for CJK language fonts.
