Why is this Serif not working on one place of this letter (as in looking distorted)? Should it? Is it me? It is scaled 25% on the middle cross bar. Looks good on the bottom one, but why like this own the top side?

That is a tricky one.
the problem has to do with the way the corners are bend to fit the angled stem ending. You might need to draw the corner for each side and prebend or adjust each one until it looks good.
And remove the line segments that starts at the “left” anchor. That is not needed and without it you always get a flat side.
