Wouldn’t it be nice if “Create composite” used default activated features (like liga, calt… )?
I’ve made f, i and l alternates, which I need to add manually to ligatures. Thought it would make sense for glyphs to use those alternates automatically if the liga/calt feature is implemented.

It respects the suffixes you use. If you create f_k.liga, it will prefer f.liga over f.
For more complex combinations, consider recipes. See the tutorial of the same name.
