This is not the most exiting bug.
Trying to create a component from selection that is itself a component, and it gets weird.
My client creates Ldot using dotaccentcomb, with an anchor to have automatic alignment. With G3 I used to create periodcentered.loclCAT.case from there to already have it positioned at the same horizontal level.
- Suggested naming ends with .
case.case

the component created goes back to the initial position of dotaccentcomb. Which goes against the strategy.

the nested component appears “empty”
- when leaving the glyph edit view of the created component, it appears also empty.
I tried to reproduce in a minimal test file and only gets problem 1 and 2. So maybe forget about problem 3 and 4 if you can’t reproduce either, and this is the minimal test file:
