Curve-, Corner-, Tangentpoints?

I’ve worked with Fontographer before, but I can’t find a way to convert points (to curve/corner/tangent).
How can this be done?

Thanks,
nsf

There are two ways:
Double click the node.

Select one node and hit “enter”.

This toggles the node between smooth and corner.

The smooth points are green, corner points are blue. There are no special tangent points.

If you want to change a line segment to a curve segment, click it with the option key pressed. To make a line segment, select a offcurve node and delete it.

Hope that helps.

Thank you for your help!

Can I convert all nodes to corner point, without losing handles. thanks!

you select all smooth nodes and hit enter.

yeah, problem is that some are corners, hard/time consuming to select only smooth

Write a little script.

What do you need it for?

I am missing something. I am unable to convert points? Help would be much appreciated. Also coming from Fontographer and appreciate the ease of converting points.

Double click an individual node, or select multiple nodes and press the Return key to toggle their curve/corner status.

These kinds of things are well-documented in the handbook, or the short intro videos on the Get Started page.
