Curve EQ for Glyphs 3?

Can I get an updated answer if the Curve EQ is available to Glyphs (Same as in Robofont?).
I know about the Fit Curve feature in Glyphs, but the Curve EQ is SO much more useful. Thank you.

From the developer:
# Curve Equalizer for Glyphs
Curve Equalizer for Glyphs is included in this repository, but it is not working yet. Currently I have no time to develop it further. You are welcome to have a look at what’s there and send pull requests

Hi,
Perhaps you can try to use Tunnify script from @mekkablue
or Supertool plugin only for Glyphs 2 until upcoming upgrade.

Hi there, I’ve installed Curve Equlizer for Glyphs 3 but it’s not working. Can someone confirm if it’s been updated or not? I’m assuming if it’s in the Plugin Manager it should work no?

What version of Glyphs 3 do you have (the four digit number in the About window).

And do you get any error message (e.g. in the macro window)?

Verson 3.1.2 (3151). I don’t get any errors, its just doesn’t do anything.

Meaning the dialog is not coming up or when the dialog show, nothing happens to the outlines?

Have you selected anything?

I first select the curve segment and then select Curve Equalizer/balance handles. It doesn;t appear to do anything and it closes the window immediately. Perhaps I’m expecting the window to stay open and the ability to select more segments while it is open, as in RoboFont.

Curve EQ for Glyphs is implemented as a ā€œfilter with dialogā€, that’s why it works a bit differently than in RoboFont. You can’t keep it open, it only works on the segments selected before the filter dialog is opened.

If you just want to balance the handles of selected curves, you can use this standalone script, ā€œCurveEQ: Balance Handlesā€ and call it via shortcut.

Thanks Jens, I’ll give that a go.

Or instead of memorizing hundreds of shortcuts, give ā€˜Script Deck’ a try  (PDF manual)

Hi. Is this still working in current Glyphs 3 versions? I tried to install via plugin manager and can’t seem to find it after reopening.

Plugin Manager > Scripts > Jens KutĆlek’s Scripts. Once installed it will be in the Outlines folder.

That explained it. Got it now. Thanks.
