Custom Parameters No Longer Functioning (1.3.12)

I’ve noticed that with the most recent version of Glyphs (1.3.12) custom parameters are not functioning. Specifically, I am trying to replace glyph shapes à la this blog post. The glyphs are removed, but they are not replaced.

I can reproduce this. The Rename Glyph parameter adds a .001 suffix to the glyph name. This seems to be related to a problem with the Paste Special / Overwrite commands.

Until it is fixed, I am afraid your best shot is to go back to version 1.3.11 for the time being. You can use both versions next to each other.
