I’m on v3525 and I’m seeing a different behaviour now when exporting without removing overlap. Path directions arae correct in all these glyphs but here’s how it looks in Firefox:
I don’t recall changing something in that area. Is this a variable or static font?
Static.
Can you check if the outlines are correct in the final file? If so, then it is a bug in FireFox. Variable fonts explicitly support overlaps. For static fonts, it should be find, but often it is not.
Outlines seem to have correct path directions when opening the OTF in Glyphs, but maybe there’s a better way to check, does Glyphs apply some path rules when opening a TTF?
I’m seeing the same problem in Chrome & Safari, and here’s a different font in Affinity. This was fine previously:
