When I work on a layer, I sometimes like to activate another layer in the background. When I do this now, all nodes are being shown and are selectable.
It used to show only a grey outline. Did this change or did I trigger something by accident ?

You have the multi-select tool active. Long-click on the Select tool and choose the normal Select tool.
