I’m trying to move points but they’re always snapping to the grid magnetically.
How can i disable grid snapping ?
In the manual it says to use Ctrl but it doesn’t work and it seems to be very outdated…

What are your grid settings? Maybe your drawing is too small in relation to the grid…
When you enter 0 as the grid spacing, the grid will effectively be disabled.
Holding down the Ctrl key disables the magnetic guides, it dos not disable the unit grid. These are two different things.
The unit grid is controlled in File > Font Info > Other. If you are you drawing a font, I do not recommend disabling the grid though. Can you show a screenshot of what you are trying to do?
For adjusting small details, I recommend to use the arrow keys instead of the mouse. That is much more precise and repeatable.
