Dear Community,
I am a composer, and I am in the process of creating a custom, non-standard music font. I need some help with Glyphs Mini:
- How can I draw a circle without a black fill?
- How can I ensure that the thickness of the circle matches the stroke weight of the other elements (such as squares) in my font?
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance.
Shapes in font do not have stokes, only filled areas. What you need to do is to draw two circles, one outer “black” circle that has to have a counter clock wise path direction. And a slightly smaller circle inside with clock wise path direction. The second one will cut a whole into the first. One of the nodes in the path is drawn as a triangle to show the path direction.
Use the Measurement Tool. Either select it in the toolbar or hold down the Command + Option + Control keys to temporarily switch to it. Then draw a line over the shape you like to measure.
