The price is the upgrade price, half of the full price, so approx USD 150.

So there wont be an educational discount for the upgrade price?

Discounts cannot be added on top of each other. Highest discount for an individual license is 50% off. Upgrading from a previous purchase already gives you the highest discount. It doesn’t get any better than this.

For me (and others) that means, less than one year for a paid update at the same price as the purchased version.
Any 2.7 or 2.8 or 2.9 :frowning: :partying_face:

Puh-leeze. First, opposed to others, you saved 150 dollars if you purchased with a student discount. And we are not forcing you to upgrade to Glyphs 3 now, you can do so later (your coupon code will still be valid), or even just keep using Glyphs 2. We will not add features anymore, but fix bugs for a while still, and all upcoming Glyphs 2 updates will continue to be free.

I’m in the same boat, but I think that €150 for the upgrade is good value given the quality of the software. I’m also glad that the pricing model has stayed the same rather than charging a monthly fee.
