Encodings for /space and /nbspace?

I have both of these glyphs in the font but am informed that although the glyphs are present, they are missing their encodings in generated files. I found this article as reference, but I’m not sure what I’m overlooking: Unicode | Glyphs

Am I missing some data or not setup correctly?

How did you check for the presence of the codes?

And you can double encode the space.

Thanks for the visual.
I temporarily tried to double-encode, but have not generated files with that revision yet to see if it resolves.
When I did delete the /nbspace glyph and added the coding (like your screenshot), the whole glyph set became ‘gray’ like a font-wide change had occurred. I suppose this is ok to save and didn’t really alter anything else (eg. metrics or other data)?

Adding a unicode is a change of the glyph. The gray means any glyph, not just outlines.

What files, and who informs you, and how do they know?

How do you export your font? Any special settings in Font Info > Exports?

Good questions… and actually, I think it’s resolved (ended up just needing to clarify some things) with no real changes needed. So nothing out of the ordinary needs changed in settings or setup as originally thought. Thanks!
