Hi! I’m getting an error when I try to export a variable font that has some bracketed layers in the Ø and ø characters. The message is as following:
This is what the character layers look like. There’s no issues with master compatibility.
What could cause this issue? 
is the oslash contains components? And do those linked glyphs contain bracket layers?
Yes, the oslash use the O as components and one of the three master O’s has a bracketed layer.
That’s not supported.
Make the bracket layers work without nested bracket layers in your Ø.
Why one bracket layer only? Did you meant to add a brace layer?
