I am having an issue exporting OTF files of a variable font. I have eight instances set up and they seem to export correctly. But, when I try to add them to Font Book it thinks all the weights are duplicates of the Regular weight and Adobe programs only recognize that instance. The variable TTFs export fine. Do I need to add custom parameters for each instance?
Make sure the variable font has a different family name. It is probably colliding with the variable font.

Thank you! I had the Family Name and Font Name in there and they were colliding.
Delete the font name parameters. Better to have them calculated automatically. Use them only if you know what you’re doing.
