Export issue (removing overlap in glyph) Error

Hi,

I have been fine-tuning a font I’ve been working on for a couple of months now, and suddenly it decided that it won’t export because of a nonexistent error.
I tried everything from merging to decomposing the components. nothing works it just decided it won’t export (it was exporting before).
it also keeps switching between these two letters (which have one common component which has no overlaps)

Advice?

Can you send me the file? To support at this domain? Thanks

Thanks for the file, you encountered a rare bug. See the email reply for a workaround.

Hello,

I had the same problem (removing overlap) trying to export a file.
I can’t figure where the problem is.

Can you send me the .glyphs file?

You don’t have a problem with remove overlaps. The error I get is this:

There are overlapping zones

from the postscript hinting tutorial: Hinting: PostScript autohinting | Glyphs :

Zones must never overlap. There must also be at least one unit distance between any two zones. (To be more precise, the distance must be at least 1 + 2 × blueFuzz. See the blueFuzz chapter further below for details.)

Your cap height and ascender are too close. I would just make them the same.

Can you send me that file?
