Hi guys, I am new to Glyphs and have started making my first font. Unfortunately, when I installed the exported font file, I can’t use the font anywhere. How can I fix this? Am I just too stupid? (MacBook Air 2020 M1 8 GB 512 GB | Glyphs 3.0.5 (3129))

Also, if your font does not fully support a language, it will not show up in some apps. For example, your font is missing Ä Ö Ü ä and apps like Pages will not show the font in the font family menu when your Mac language is set to German, even if the font is installed correctly (you can, however, use the Command-T shortcut and see all installed fonts where regardless of language support).
Some other apps might not like the Umlaut in the font name. Consider using a family name without Umlaut and adding a “Localized Family Name” parameter to the font where you can use non-English letters like “ö”.
What fixed it?
I renamed the file.
