Hey guys, I’ve been running into issues trying to export as a variable. It seems simple enough so not sure where the error is coming from. The font has been made in glyphs with the path tool and then adding 2 weights, thin and large. I haven’t moved or added the points around but it won’t export. Any help really appreciated. I’ve added some images to show what i’m working with.

If you look at the nodes on the strokes, you can see that the outlines are not compatible. You’ll probably have to expand the strokes and remove the superfluous nodes manually.
The rounded stroke ends do not produce compatible outlines(, yet).
can you explain a little further, don’t fully understand what you mean? Do you mean (yet) as in it’s not implemented yet and may be possible at a later date?

On diagonal strokes (like the A) it will add half a circle with two extreme points (one at the bottom and one at the outside). But in the thin master, the outside extrem node would produce a bump in the curve (because there is not enough space) so it is omitted. You can see that by looking at the small black dots on the outlines.
