it would be useful for many purposes but also lack of this possibility cause problems on multiset masters.(for example in one .glyphs file: 2 variable fonts settings exist and both has 3 masters, these 2 sets has their own compatibility and everything works fine, but for re-interpolate layer we have to make a copy and delete other set)
