Feature request: Indicate save in progress

I’ve found crashing is almost inevitable if I save immediately before exporting. So over the last year or so I’ve made a habit of hitting save and then waiting around 5/6 second before exporting. Or praying an auto-save isn’t currently in progress.

I generally keep to the latest version of Glyphs and admittedly I’m working with quite a heavy file.

Wondering if it would be possible to either:
— execute the export command only when any current save process is complete, or
— indicate somewhere on the Glyphs interface when a background process (like save) is in progress so I know when it’s safe to export. This is common in 3D software where managing computational resources is crucial.

A small quality of life improvement but one that would make a big difference when frequently exporting.
