A live bounding box skew tool, this would be very useful to italicise round glyphs where I don’t always know how many degrees something needs to italicise, for example.
Yes to this as well as the ability to skew vertically.
I think one should be able to skew in any direction like how a skew tool works in all other type design apps and vector apps.
That would be similar to the Distort tool in Photoshop which allows transforming in any direction.
Yes you’re right, actually the ‘transformation tool’, i.e. bounding box, skew only skews horizontally and vertically. MInimally that would already be a very useful tool!
I spoke with Georg 2-3 months ago about this and he wasn’t too inclined to make a vertical skew. Hope he had reconsidered.
