Feature request : Symmetrical Drawing tool

Implementing a feature similar to the Symmetry tool in Adobe Illustrator might be interesting. It could help save a significant amount of time when designing glyphs that need to be symmetrical.
Users would simply define an axis, and all points on one side of this axis would be replicated on the opposite side.

The way I would approach this is using components where one of the components is flipped.

Sure it could work with component, but using an axes could be also pretty useful for glyphs with optical axis slanted.

I think this should still work using flipped components. Could you post a sketch of a drawing setup where that would not apply?
