This only happens when I export an older FontLab file to Glyphs and open it to clean up red marked errors in “info” view
Ah, it seems to remove the space. Can you check if the space is a normal space (Unicode U+0020) or some other whitespace character? Best to copy and paste the text in UnicodeChecker’s tool box (Cmd-2, then pick the Split Up function).
