Fontlab font cannot be opened

Trying to open a font created in Fontlab Studio 5 with Glyphs:

Glyphs error message: The document “xxxx.ttf” could not be opened.

What to do?

What version of Glyphs do you have?
Can you send me the .ttf file?

Glyphs 2.6.4
The font has about 2300 glyphs

Please use the latest cutting edge version. The problem seems to be fixed already.

But your font has VERY strange vertical metrics. The descender is huge and the capital letters just reach over the baseline. If that is not intentional, you need to shift everything up so that the letters stand on the baseline.

Thank you! The metrics are intentional and needed to produce correctly aligned text when mixing characters of different height in that language.

But at least the typeDescender in the OS/2 table was wrong. It needs to be negative.
