Fonts folder for Adobe not recognising aliases – experience?

Hello. This is not necessarily Glyphs-related, other that this is something a lot of people use here.

I recently noticed that InDesign 2022 (and, probably, other Adobe apps) doesn’t recognise aliases anymore. This means that I need to export my testing fonts directly into the Fonts folder, instead of simply keeping an alias of my latest export directory for each project.

Has anybody else run into this issue? I am hesitant to update to to InDesign 2024, but maybe this issue does not occur there anymore.

Okay, it works in 2024. Just in case anybody is wondering why their fonts are not showing up in 2022.
