I notice that for nukt table it will automatically generate lookup NuktDeomp and I am wondering what is this lookup used for, given that I didn’t find any similar code in other Devanagari font…
It uses the rra instead of ra + nukta. It could rely on mark positioning but there might be different drains/positioning in the rra.

If you don’t have nukta shapes you save a lot conjuncts and half forms. Because you only need to deal with ka but not with qa.
