Generating Regular weight with Light and Bold Masters

Hi,

I have 2 full masters (light and bold) and I would like to generate a regular weight, how can I do it please?

Create an instance.

You want it as a third master? After creating the instance, pick Font > Generate Instances, then Font Info > Masters > Add.

Actually I just want to “generate” my regular weight thanks to light and bold weights, is it possible? Or should I create every characters of the regular font?

If I try it with instance and masters it generates an ugly font weight :confused:

Can you check the manual about setting up Multiple Master fonts?
This should get you started. You have to set the right values in the weight and width fields in both, the masters and the instances.
