Glyphs 3: How to hide measurements and kerning info when Metrics are shown

I want to see the Metrics when I am editing a particular glyph. But the option to “Show Metrics” also turns on measurements and kerning info when you switch from Edit to Text (T) mode.
Imo, those should be separated concerns, and be allowed to be toggled individually.

How to hide measurements and kerning in Text(T) mode when Metrics are shown?

Turn off Show Measurement Line.

Thanks.

But you really need to redo your spacing before you start kerning. Glyphs with flat sides should never be kerned (e.g. “a”+“n”). You should remove all kerning pairs from this string (and probably all others, too. Work on the spacing and only add kerning for asymmetric letters (like “T”+“o” or “A”+“V”).

Thanks. I’ll do that.
