Frequently, Glyphs 4 hangs with the beach ball when I save a file after making changes in pixel mode. I’m on Mac Tahoe 26.6. I’m not exactly sure what seems to cause it, but it usually happens after I’ve been editing a file for a while.
When it hangs, does it take a long time to save or does the app no longer become responsive?

It becomes no longer responsive. I’ve left it for upwards of 20 mins before Force Quitting it.
I’m trying to narrow down a consistently reproducible workflow that causes it. So far the steps below are reproducible.
File setup: I’m working with pixel mode, so the file I have is just a minimal file, with a pixel component and a basic latin characters.
- Open file
- Go to a glyph and enter pixel mode and do some drawing.
- Go to a different glyph and do some drawing (either from sidebar or Font tab)
- Cmd+S to save
- Glyphs becomes unresponsive.
