This is useful to see but it should be toggleable. I often have glyphs that aren’t set to export but will be part of the final font through glyph rename parameters, and if I’m trying to space or edit them this is distracting.
It was great when it was part of the Show Export Status plugin which could be toggled.
If I remember correctly, a glyph with _underscore should be non exporting but it’s exporting in the latest cutting edge, the export checkmark still checked by default.
The export is only disabled for newly created glyphs.
I added a new glyph, renamed it to _newGlyph2 but as you can see the export check is still on. For the older _newGlyph I unchecked manually.
You need to add the Glyphs with the “Add Glyphs…” dialog. Manually adding the underscore is too late.
I added using that + icon at the bottom. Ok.
