Glyphs deletes layers in UFO when saving

Hi!

I was working with a UFO file within Glyphs 1.4.4 and also created multiple layers for different versions of a glyph. After saving the file into the existing UFO, quitting and restarting Glyphs, those layers are gone and only the top one remains in the glyph.

Would it be possible for Glyphs to check if there are multiple layers and then suggests to save it as a .glyphs instead to not lose this kind of information?

Thanks in advance!

There is not proper way in a ufo file to store arbitrary layers. Ufo3 has some support for it but you will not be able to see the other layers in another apps.

I will add such a warning.
