Every time I try to delete the kerning in an Glyph file to paste an improved kerning from another UFO, the program gets frozen for a looooong time. Is there a better way to replace the kerning without waiting such long times?

Have you tried File > Import > Metrics?

How do you delete the kerning? From kerning panel?
Yes. I select all and delete.
Have noticed that too lately.
Months ago deleting kern pairs in the kern window worked much faster
Fixed it.
