I’ve just purchased this tool and somehow it doesn’t support SVG.
I am using Glyphs Mini: 2.1.14 (126)
I’ve tried these 3 methods of import
Copy file from Finder and pasting it in the glyph edit view
Drag & drop from Finder onto glyph edit view
Using Add Image menu command in the glyph edit view
Non of these helps with SVG. It let me import PNGs, so I can finally see images but when I export it to OTF or WOFF, they are not working. (Not able to display the pngs I think)
I goal is to use SVG files for my font. Can you please help me to resolve this issue?
For SVG, try opening the SVG in a text editor and copying the text. Does it work when you paste the clipboard contents into your editing glyph?
The official documentation states about Glyphs Mini: Import OTF and TTF. Export OTF and CFF-based WOFF. Drag-and-drop import of SVG pictures, clipboard import of Illustrator outlines.
So this should work fine.
I simply need a single color A to Z and numbers. They are simple text with tiny decorative elements for each letter and number (all merged into 1 piece, no layers, no extra color) - made in Adobe Illustrator.

Can Glyphs Mini support this?
Sebastian,
I was using Mini’s trial and it worked for me by drag-and drop importing the SVG pictures. but sometime later I bought the license. It’s not working anymore. I am not sure what’s going on.

Can Glyphs Mini support this? if not, can you provide me the contact and I’d like to request my refund.
Thanks.
