Want to copy glyph A into B, but haven’t found a way to do it without entering Edit view for both.
Currently the steps needed to do this are:
- select origin glyph
- enter Edit view
- Select All
- Select All
- Copy
6.Close Edit view
- Select destination glyph
- Enter Edit view
- Paste

Yes, Glyphs Mini is not (yet) built for this. Workaround suggestions:
- Delete target glyph: select it in Font View and click the minus button at the bottom.
- Duplicate the source glyph: select it in Font View and press Cmd-D (or Glyph > Duplicate)
- Rename the new glyph: it should already be selected, so just press the Return key and type the name, then confirm with Return again.
Attention: Singleton kerning (i.e., not group kerning) may be deleted when you delete the glyph in step 1.
Or open both glyphs in Edit view:
- Select both source and target glyphs in Edit view
- Open a new tab (Cmd-T)
- Switch between the two with double clicking.
