GlyphsQuickLook.qlgenerator keeps crashing ExternalQuickLookSatellite-x86_64

Is there a way to disable GlyphsQuickLook.qlgenerator? It keeps crashing ExternalQuickLookSatellite-x86_64 rather often on macOS 11.6.1 (Intel). I’d prefer not to use it. :slight_smile:

Is this the latest version of Glyphs 3?
You don’t happen to know what .glyphs file is causing this?

Newest app. Unfortunately, I don’t know which file causes it — and I have many many font files in different formats. Some of them are of course buggy/malformed test files.

I realize this is relatively low-priority, but I’d really appreciate some method by which I could turn off /Applications/Glyphs 3.app/Contents/Library/QuickLook/GlyphsQuickLook.qlgenerator/Contents/MacOS/GlyphsQuickLook

If I rename the folder Library to something else like Library.disabled, then Glyphs no longer launches. Some other way? com.glyphsapp.GlyphsQuickLook keeps crashing many times per day.

Is the latest version (3.0.4-3108) still crashing?

The only way some sometimes works is to put the app in a folder and add that folder to the Spotlight Privacy list in System Preferences.

I get some of those crashes (with older versions; Quicklook is picking them up once in a while). But I’m not impacted by it at all. Are you?
