Guides in Version 2.6.4 (1274)

I have just up-dated to Version 2.6.4 (1274) and after opening Glyph have found that all of my guides have not been saved. I use global guides for character alignment and curve overshoot etc. It is a bit time consuming to replace them every time. Hope you can solve this, thanks Paul.

  1. Have you been using .ufo or .glyphs files?
  2. Did you verify their display is on? View > Show Guides.

I don’t think it has something to do with the version.

Hi Rainer, I am working with a .ufo file at the moment and yes I do have; view > Show Guide on.

The .ufo format does not openly support guides. I recommend you use .glyphs as saving format and export to .ufo whenever necessary.
