Guides showing inconsistently

I’m new to Glyphs (Mini), and I’m trying to create some guides for x-heights, etc. When I right click > Add Guide, I get a blue dot — which I understand is a local guide — but no corresponding blue line/guide. It only appears very inconsistently at certain zoom levels and scroll positions, then disappears again. When I double click on the dot to switch it to a vertical guide, it appears slightly more consistently, but still not 100% at every zoom level and scroll position. It also rapidly glitches between a dotted and solid line. Global/red guides are no different.

This might be expected behavior and I’m missing something, but I’m coming from Illustrator where you can just drag in a guide and it stays there!

I’m on Sequoia 15.2, latest Glyphs Mini.

Thanks all!

This is a bug introduced through Sequoia 15.2. A fix has been published for Glyphs 3, but it apparently hasn’t made its way to Glyphs Mini yet (which is based on Glyphs 2).

That’s a shame! Would you happen to know any way to get around it before a fix is published?

It’s a display issue on macOS’s side, so your only hope is to downgrade your macOS to an earlier version. Your highlighting this issue is a good reminder, though, maybe a fix will be published for Glyphs Mini soon™.
