If I go to scripts>metrics I see the menu item “steal sidebearings” and a few others twice.
I thought I just had duplicates of those files in my scripts folder, but when I ask glyphs to open the scripts folder (/Users/kemie/Library/Application\ Support/Glyphs/Scripts), I just see one copy.
Could I have copies in some other location? I find it confusing because they seem to be different versions and I never know which is which.
Is it possible some wound up in the universal Library folder instead of the user Library? (/Library/Application Support/Glyphs/Scripts – instead of /Users/kemie/…)
D’oh! That gave me the clue I was looking for. The duplicate script’s FILE name was something else (even though the menu name was the same, that’s why I wasn’t finding it.
Can you change the MenuName of one of the scripts and restart Glyphs? Or rename the script folder. If you still have some scripts in the menu, you have a folder somewhere else. If not, there is a alias that creates a circle of some kind.
