How do I create Guidelines?

Sorry might be a really basic question, tried googling but did not find any answers.
How do I create a guideline on Glyphs 3?

In Edit View, Control-click or right-click and choose Add Guide from the context menu. Hold down the Option key to add a global guide (a guide that is visible on all glyph layers of the master).

and if you have two nodes selected, the guide will go through them.
