How do I place an image?

This is a really elementary question, but I can’t figure it out. How do I place an image in my Glyphs file? I want to draw over a scan. Thank you.

just drag the image in the edit view. Or select Layer > Add Image.

Sorry but I can’t seem to select or move the images I have added. If I try to select with the selection tool it just draws a blue selection rectangle, the hand moves the entire document around the screen. What do I do to move the images I have added to each glyph?

  1. Make sure View > Image is activated.
  2. If necessary, right-click and unlock image.
